Just discovered your "Testimonials"
link. (should've known I wasn't alone!) Got to use my BOLD
III's for the first time on the ice this past weekend -
absolutely the best pads I've ever worn! Comfortable, functional,
and great looking - gotta love em. I played high school
and some college hockey in Boston back in the 70's and 80's
and was still using "vintage" leather gear (something
you find on Ebay or on display at a Sports bar) I've checked
out (and/or borrowed) decent brand name equipment over the
years - and yours is the best I've seen to date. First game
shot was a breakaway and the guy tried to stuff it 5-hole
- Dee-nied. Thanks again for making such a high quality
product!

Scott,
Just wanted to let you know 2 years+ with my Battrams and
still going strong. I recently played in the Can/am tournament
in Montreal and went 4-0 to win the gold medal. The funny
thing is we knocked off the defending champs and their goalie
was wearing Battram pads too! (you must of made mine a little
better!) Two years in a row Battram stands alone at the
top! Hope all is well with you and your excellent company.

I have played 8 games with it and all the stiffness is gone.
Talk about quick break-in!!
The protection the glove offers is great (have not had a
stinger yet) and the larger pocket is of course making me
look better.
Keep up the superb work and I'll be in touch when the blocker
is ready for retirement.

Just wanted to let you know. I played my first game with
the new pads only two days after receiving them. I was quite
pleased with the way the pads felt. All I had to do was
adjust the thigh boards and strap the pads on. There is
no break-in required. Straight out of the box and GO! Well
done, Scott.

I must say that I have never decided to buy a product that
I could not touch or feel first over the internet. I decided
to break that philosophy and try out your product. I was
a bit skeptical but after talking with Scott and Tisch I
soon realized what kind of company this was. Battram is
a customer is King type of company. It was a wonderful experience
working with Battram on the custom Cyclone combo. I stretched
the limit a little in my design and in return received gear
that is top notch quality and offers great protection even
at the pro level. It also looks great as the graphic design
is awesome. I realized how much work you put into them when
I opened the box. They came out exactly how I designed them,
that’s amazing. In my 34 years of playing experience
I have had the opportunity to work with all the major venders
in the goal equipment market and your service, production
time, honesty and quality is number one. I could not be
happier with the fit, quality of the gear and the price.

Scott and Tischa...got my pads today. In one word...PHENOMENAL!!
I feel like I got 150% of what I asked, expected, and paid
for :). The design is EXACTLY as I imagined it, and they
are waaay lighter than I thought [bathroom scale says 4.5lbs.
a piece]. Ever the Canpar delivery guy couldn't believe
that they were goalie pads till I opened the box and showed'em.
I will take them out on the ice on Thursday night and likely
take out one piece of the knee lifts. The craftsmanship
is unbelieveable, all the stitching tidy, etc... I will
definately recommend you guys to anyone who'll listen. Thanks
for a wonderful 'custom' experience, I've had a bad one
before. Thanks for all the help, and even being receptive
to my few last minute changes.

Quick feedback for you. Have recieved the pads. Thanks very
much, I think they are absolutely fantastic. I can see the
excellent worksmanship and have already had many strong
comments on how striking and cool they look! They play and
feel great, I am happy with the size, I feel pretty used
to the change already after only a couple of training sessions.
They slide much easier than my Bauers, and already my legs
and saves feel much quicker, mainly due to the less friction.
The service and promptness has been great. I am a very happy
customer but you have made a lot of UK goalies jealous that
have seen these pads and want them!!! :) If you need any

purchased a pair of Battram cyclones and recieved them in
September. Everything about this product is exuisite. These
by far are the best pad I have ever used and would tell
anyone to try them. I can butterfly in these with absolutely
no problem and with the knee lifts it is that much better.
They are so light I barely know that they are on. Break
in was about 5 minutes and i felt like i had worn them for
a year. This is an excellent product and i thank you for
the great pads!

Thanks again for building my pads. They look great. A lot
of people are saying great things about them and wondering
where they came from. It only took me two practices to get
used to them, which is rare. And that was also a good thing
since I'm the league leader in shots against by far, and
they saw plenty of action early, and held up well. They
really rotate with ease into the butterfly position, and
then back again, something I've never seen before. I did
take out two of the knee lifts because I felt funny in them,
but I love how they bounce me back to my feet quick and
so I want to put at least one more back in when I get more
comfortable with them. The glove feels perfect, a huge glove
that fits my smaller hand, (Just wait till I break it in,
shooters beware) I appreciate you making that adjustment
for me. All in all I'm ecstatic about these pads, they feel
great, look great, play great and add a little more size
to my game. These boys are going to help my game physically
and mentally. Again, thanks for building my pads, and keeping
close contact with me throughout the production. Expect
to hear from me when I need a new set! Or when you start
designing helmets and pants! Great job!

is second to none. The graphics are spectacular. The weave
is very sharp. The glove is virtually broke in and the blocker
has great protection for the thumb and fingers. I have been
the owner of Vaughn, Heaton, Itech, Boddam/Simmons and Koho
and your equipment is far superior to these name brands
at a much more affordable cost. I am very pleased with my
purchase and hope to deal again in the future.
I would just like to tell you that the glove that you sent
me was simply amazing...it is one of the finest pieces I
have owned and I would just like to say keep up the good
work. The Craftsmanship exceeds all others and the custom
graphics are 100 times better than I thought they would
be. You do a great job there.

Thanks for the great job on the blocker...The workmanship
is unmatched by any company...Your attention to detail is
also unmatched... No unfinisherd seams, no loose threads,
Top Notch! all the way around...Comfort and fit seem to
be one and the same...This is the first blocker where the
finger stalls and the finger pad straps fit right and are
sewn in the right place...For the longest time I always
said that a blocker is a blocker is a blocker...I can't
wait to swat away some pucks with it...When was the last
time you heard that about a blocker. As the need arrises
I will be sure to replace the rest of my gear with your
product...I'm Sold.

I wanted to drop you a note to express my complete satisfaction
with my Cyclone Combo. I am a forty-seven year old goalie
who has always owned traditional style pads, and was always
happy with them. However over the years I became more of
a hybrid style goalie and when I decided on buying new pads
I wanted to try the box type. I heard of your company on
the bulletin boards and decide to check out your product.
After looking over all of your pads the Cyclones appealed
to me the most. They are a good mix of what I was used to
and the newer box style pad I wanted to try. The ability
to be able to customize every aspect of the pad appealed
to me also. I must say your customer service was excellent
and the pads shipped to me a little ahead of schedule. I
asked for a few mods and every one was done to my specs.
I've used the pads for a while now and I must say they are
better than I ever envisioned. The Cyclones seem to fit
my style perfectly, and I'm butter flying with confidence
and taking away the lower part of the net with them more
efficiently than with my traditional style pads. The graphics
look great and they match my uniform colors perfectly. The
gloves are also great and it is the only blocker that I've
owned that has fit my hand correctly. The catcher (5000
series) is a big glove with quite a bit more hand protection
than I've ever had before and I love the addition of the
cheater bar. I'm tending goal better than ever and couldn't
be happier with my purchase. If you have any other customers
who are skeptical of making the switch, assure them that
it will work out fine for them, it did for me. Thanks again

Just wanted to let you know how well the Battram pads I
ordered last summer have worked out for my son. The break-in
seemed almost instantaneous, helping Alex to receive an
invitation to try out for the Carolina Hurricanes Pee Wee
team for the Quebec world championships. Despite being the
least experienced of the 11 goalies from North & South
Carolina invited to the tryouts last month, he ended up
being one of the 2 goalies chosen for the team! This will
be a wonderful experience and a lifelong memory for him,
and I wanted to express our appreciation to you both for

The quality is as advertised, and the graphics look wonderful.
He has been using them for about two weeks now and the break-in
was not bad. Being 10, it took a little time for him to
get the idea they needed some work out of the box. However,
he did spend some time and is now using them in games. We
are very happy with the product and the service you provided,
and Evan has told us that we will be contacting you when
his leg pads are in need of replacement. I should warn you
he said that he wants to wear your equipment when he is
in the NHL. It might be a little early to talk about sponsorship!

Sorry for the long delay in sending this Thank You. The
glove is everything I expected and more. Incredible workmanship
and quality the one colour concept turned out great. Even
with it being so close to the holidays I truly appreciate

Mr. and Mrs. Battram,
I ordered a Barricade combo package, receiving it over
the summer. I was quite anxious to spend that much money
at once on equipment, but it has been well worth it. The
pads arrived a few days earlier than the wait time had
me anticipating, so that was nice. The leg pads were much
bigger than my previous set, but within a week of sparse
use (3 or 4 times), my skating adjusted to the larger
size. The pads are extremely square, which, as a stay
at home goaltender, I find to be a huge asset. They rotate
very easily when going down to the butterfly, and are
equally quick to return upon rising from the position.
I think the flat front does indeed help rebound control.
I've found that shots almost always exit the crease parallel
to the goal line, as opposed to the shot off the knee
rolls coming out unpredictably. The gloves are tremendous,
too. I have small hands, and the catch glove fits better
than any other that is still as large as the major name
brands' gloves. The blocker has a super soft liner between
the hand and the blocking surface that I find much more
comfortable than other gloves. And all the equipment is
very durable, thus far. It felt so comfortable so fast
that my first game in these pads was also my first college
shutout. Thank you for the great product!
